A seven-year-old boy was left needing plastic surgery after he suffered multiple puncture wounds in a vicious dog attack.
Freddie Turner was playing with friends in a garden in Wakefield when was attacked by a dog on the loose on Wednesday, April 20. The youngster was rushed to Pinderfields Hospital, where he underwent plastic surgery after the dog "tried tearing him to bits", according to his dad.
Thankfully, Freddie is now recovering, though he is still dealing with the mental consequences of his attack. His father Nik told Yorkshire Live : "He keeps reliving it, and if he sees a big dog he tries to hide."
