Boy George has waded in to Taylor Swift and Matty Healy's relationship as the couple are already said to have called time on their short-lived romance.
The American songstress was linked to The 1975 frontman earlier this year when they were spotted together.
Their rumoured romance came after Taylor's split from ex-beau Joe Alwyn and were last seen together in public on May 25 for a romantic dinner date.
As sources now say Taylor and Matty are no more, Boy George has offered an explanation as to why.
Taking to Twitter, the Culture Club star said: "It's because he kissed that security guard!"
Over the weekend, the singer continued his tradition of kissing someone during his performance.
He has typically consensually pecked fans but this time he turned his attention to a security guard.
As The 1975 appeared at NorthSide Festival in Denmark, Matty could be seen mouthing to a security guard "wanna kiss me?"
He then accepted and they kissed.
The security guard could be seen raising his hands in celebration as the singer carried on his set.
Boy George has appeared to reference this move as being the one to break up the rumoured couple.
Some of his followers agreed as one wrote: "That’s entirely possible ! I guess that means another chart busting song coming from Taylor! She ‘s made a successful career out of bad relationships !"
"I'm guessing it's because the security guard kissed him back," added another.
Someone else teased: "Authority is pretty sexy hehe."
According to TMZ, a friend close to the situation has stated that Taylor is "single" again.
However, it is still unclear when exactly they split.
Since it was first reported that the couple were getting close, they were spotted out and about in New York, with Matty even supporting Taylor at her Nashville gigs.
Taylor's reported romance with Matty came was criticised due to the Brit's past controversies and bigoted remarks.
The 1975 frontman has openly talked about the time he masturbated to porn of 'brutalised' women after a party and made headlines for kissing fans at his shows.
Taylor's concerned fans have even launched a #SpeakUpNow campaign following Matty's controversial comments, but the singer stayed silent.
The Mirror has contacted Taylor Swift and Matty Healy's representatives for comment.
