When Jill questioned, "from where?" George laughed, and said: "From the transplant shop"
"I was bald,” he added, as he took off his jungle hat to reveal his grey locks, before going on to reveal that former England player Wayne was his inspiration behind the decision.
"Do you know what made me do it?" Wayne Rooney."
As comedian Seann Walsh laughed at the remark, George quipped: "Why do you think that's funny? That's the truth.
"I saw Wayne Rooney's hair and I thought 'I can actually get my hair done.'"
"It's great, like you're rebuilding yourself," Seann said.
George laughed and went on to joke: "I am Darth Vader."
Former Manchester United striker Wayne previously revealed that he had a hair transplant at the age of 25 when he was going bald.
The admission comes after the Culture Club singer revealed that he threatened to quit the band when his bandmates over differences of opinion on releasing their hit, Karma Chameleon.
He explained: “Karma Chameleon they hated. They hated it. They were like, ‘It’s the final nail in our coffin, it’s rubbish’ and I had to fight to get it onto the record. I had to say, ‘If you don’t put it on the record, I’m leaving the band.’"
"I did that every week though. I was the queen ‘stormer outer’,” he went on to admit.
“Every time I didn’t get my way I was like, ‘I’m leaving!’”
