According to celebritynetworth.com, Boy George has a net worth of $50million (£43.8m).

During his time in the Culture Club, Boy George became more of a central figure as he booked appearances on TV shows such as A-Team and received media attention in the masses for his alleged drug addiction.

Culture Club then disbanded following the release of their fourth album in 1986 and Boy George went on to have a solo career while launching his own record label.

While taking a step back from his singing career, Boy George became a judge on The Voice UK, replacing Tom Jones in the show's fifth season.

The judge then left the series after just one season, despite his reported £1.6m pay check, and later went on to join The Voice Australia as a coach for its sixth season to replace The Madden Brothers.

While on the Australian singing show, Boy George admitted to taking a "paycut" before being dumped from the judges' panel.

Boy George tweeted in 2020: “Truth is, I kindly took a pay cut from @TheVoiceAU because of the corona.

“I am also decent, and they agreed to have me next season. If I had known they would swap networks I still would have taken a financial hit because I’m decent and I never burn bridges!”

Boy George was reportedly making $3m (AUD), which is £1.7m, while on The Voice Australia, according to Mail Online.

The singer did not return to The Voice Australia following the Covid-19 pandemic.

Outside of his successful career, the Culture Club star has gone on to become a fashion designer and author, with titles including autobiography Take It Like A Man and memoir Straight.
