Boy George's manager is 'terrified' star will kick off with campmate in I'm A Celebrity

Boy George's manager has admitted his fears the singer will lose his temper with fellow I'm A Celebrity star Charlene White.

The Culture Club musician, 61, is already appearing riled at the Loose Women star's apparent cooking role in camp on the hit ITV show. The 42-year-old almost immediately took on the role of matriarch of the campmates, much to the dismay of the pop icon.

He begged Charlene to give him a role in the kitchen as boredom begins to creep in and now his manager has revealed he is scared for how the Karma Chameleon star will react if things continue.

Speaking to This Morning's host Phillip Schofield, manager Paul Kemsley admitted he thinks the star will kick off "at some point".

"I mean we've had early signs of it," he admitted. "There was a terrible trauma, undercooked mushrooms was the start of it.

"But the thing is with George, he gets over it very quickly. He has to get it out, talk to someone, and then provided he's had that voice, he'll get over it."

He later admitted: "I’m definitely not 'hoping' he’ll kick off!"

Tuesday's show saw Boy George head out of camp for some alone time before confronting Charlene. As Scarlette headed off to clean the dunny, Boy George told Charlene: "It might be good to say to people, ‘Right you do this today.’

"Otherwise I’m going to feel like I’m not doing anything. I want to win stars, that’s my main thing, I’m going to do everything I can to get stars. I want to contribute.

"You’re very strong. Listen, you’re such a beautiful contradiction because you’re like tough, and then you’ve got this beautiful side to you.

"But it’s challenging for me. I have to say it’s challenging for me."

Following up the discussion on Wednesday's episode, the singer admitted he was close to quitting after Matt Hancock entered the jungle.

Viewers noticed tension was building after the MP's arrival with several campmates making it clear they were not happy about his arrival.

Speaking in the Bush Telegraph, Boy George became emotional as he said: "I don't really know what to do with my feelings. You know, today was obviously quite emotional for me.

"I don't know what it's going to be like, I actually don't really know if I want to be here."

I'm A Celebrity airs every night at 9pm on ITV and ITV Hub.
