Boy George's I'm A Celebrity rant against co-stars angers viewers who brand him 'toxic'

Boy George has once again come under fire from angry I'm A Celebrity viewers, after another scathing verdict on his co-stars, with the singer being branded 'toxic' and unnecessarily negative, as critics want him to be the next to be given the boot.

The Culture Club icon has been the most outspoken star of the ITV show's new series when it's come to giving his opinions on the people he's sharing his experience with. He wasted no time in voicing his opinion on Matt Hancock, when the former Health Secretary entered the jungle as a late arrival, declaring he'd 'have walked' if he lost his mum to Covid during the pandemic.

It took just hours of him being in camp to brand now evicted I'm A Celebrity co-star Charlene White a 'bossy boots' as he took exception to how she handled the cooking in camp and, after Matt became camp leader, he sniped that he wouldn't be told what to do, threating to stage a mutiny.

Matt was once again George's target on Friday night, with the MP walking in as the singer was bad mouthing him, lading to a very awkward stand-off. And, as he and Seann Walsh sneered at their campmates having fun by playing a game of What's The Time Mr Wolf, the Karma Chameleon star once again had something negative to say.

Talking to ex Strictly star Seann, Boy George sniped: "This is how I honestly feel; there's a pressure not to rock the boat. And when there's a pressure not to rock the boat, I want to push the boat into the bottom of the ocean."

He added: "That's what creative people do. If you feel that way about someone, you can say it without being cruel. You can have a conversation with someone and be controversial and interesting without going 'everyone's getting on, let's not spoil it.'

"That feels stifling to me. I feel stifled. When everyone's being so well behaved, to me, it doesn't feel real."

George went onto say that the thought Sue Cleaver would be a 'lot more fun' off the show, before declaring that he knew Mike Tindall was 'wild.' And then after asking what game the others were playing, he retorted: "B*ll*cks Mr Wolf."

Many I'm A Celebrity viewers are growing tired of Boy George's moaning and negativity, with one taking to Twitter to fume: "Can’t stand Boy George’s negative vibes If he hates it so much, let’s Vote him out!" Another tweeted: "Boy George needs to go .. brings nothing but negative energy to the camp!"

Equally annoyed by what they'd just watched, a third reacted: "Boy George needs to leave!!! He’s so toxic and negative!!!" And, focusing on his reaction to What's The Time Mr Wolf, another wrote: "Seriously what is wrong with boy George, he’s just so unnecessarily rude to all his camp mates. It’s ridiculous just try and get along, they’re all enjoying themselves playing Mr Wolf."
