A nine-year-old boy has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Bolton.
Police were called to reports of a collision involving a pedestrian and a car in Crown Lane, Horwich, at about 4.15pm on Sunday (February 6).
The pedestrian - a nine-year-old boy - was taken to hospital with leg injuries.
His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening, Greater Manchester Police say.
No arrests have been made.
Following the incident, Crown Lane was shut in both directions for several hours near to the junction with Vale Avenue.
A spokesperson for the North West Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 3.21pm to reports of an RTC involving a pedestrian and a vehicle.
"We treated a boy for injuries to his legs and took him to hospital.
