A seven-year-old boy was rushed to hospital after falling at a popular walking route.
The schoolboy was at Rivington Terraced Gardens in Lancashire when he fell 30ft down steep ground underneath the Seven Arches Bridge. Bolton Mountain Rescue Team confirmed that it was contacted at 2.04pm on Monday, February 20, by the North West Ambulance Service which requested help.
Working with the NWAS and the North West Air Ambulance, the boy was carried up to the bridge and rushed to hospital by road.
