A six-year-old boy "was pleading with the dog to stop" as the family pet launched a terrifying attack on him, tearing off part of his scalp. The animal had been bought on Facebook two weeks earlier - and it leapt on the boy, dragging him down some steps.
The little boy screamed in terror as he was bitten and scratched on his head and back, reports The Mirror. His sister said a memory that is haunting her is her little brother “pleading with the dog to stop”.
His family saved his life by prising open the American Staffordshire terrier’s clamped jaws. As his mother tried to calm him down after the savage attack, Vick asked her: “Mummy, am I dying?”
