Boy, 5, dies after being hit by bus as girl, 9, rushed to hospital in horror crash

A five-year-old boy has died in a horror crash with a bus that left a nine-year-old girl in hospital.

Emergency services rushed to Calder Street, Govanhill, Glasgow, at 5.40pm yesterday.

The little boy was treated at the scene by paramedics after being struck by a single-deck bus, but was pronounced dead a short time later.
