A crushed father whose son died in a freak tragedy has made a desperate plea to other parents.
Stephen Powell and his wife were left distraught when little Isaac, three, went missing on his mother's birthday last Thursday, frantically searching their street in Perth, Australia, for 15 minutes.
But it was their neighbour's children who found the youngster lying lifeless in their pool after he slipped through his family's fence.
Ummu Bakri, the boy's aunt, said she doesn't think "time will ever heal" after the tragedy.
She added: "Every birthday she'll have a reminder of her child dying."
Stephen has spoken out about the tragic death of his "beautiful boy" who was "so full of energy" to warn other parents of maintaining their fences and learning basic first aid.
"He was just playing in the backyard right and he managed to find a hole in the fence," Stephen said.
"He's gone through to our neighbours' house, I haven't even met them yet, I don't know them at all... and he's fallen in their pool."
The tot died yesterday after the family made the impossible decision of swtiching his life support off.
"He was the cutest little boy," his father said.
"You wouldn't see him without a car in his hand.
"He'll be put to rest and we'll have some cars with him when he goes."
Stephen added: "If you've got a pool, maintain your fences and the people that found him they didn't know CPR," Powell said.
"I'm not saying it could've saved him but it's better than just doing nothing."
A GoFundMe has raised more than AUD$20,000 (£11,400) for funeral costs.
