
A 17-year-old boy has been left seriously injured after being stabbed close to a south London park in the early hours of Sunday.
Southwark Police said they were called to a report of a man being chased by a gang of males down Phelp Street, Walworth, in the direction of Burgess Park, at 12.45am.
Two of the group were reported to have knives.
Police and paramedics found a 17-year-old boy who had been stabbed.
He was treated at the scene before being taken to St Thomas Hospital. He remains in a serious condition.
Enquiries into the incident are still ongoing.
