Police investigating the killing of Jordan Biscoe in Tottenham have charged a 17-year-old boy with murder and robbery and arrested two others.
Mr Biscoe, 25, was fatally stabbed in Tottenham’s Arnold Road on Sunday night and later died in hospital of sharp force trauma to the chest.
The defendant appeared at Stratford Youth Court on Thursday and was remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey on Monday.
In addition, a 42-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder, while a 35-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder.
The man is still in police custody, while the woman was bailed pending further enquiries.
Met Detective Chief Inspector Linda Bradley said she was “incredibly grateful” to members of the public who had come forward.
However, she added that police still needed to hear from anyone who was in the areas of Philip Lane, Arnold Road or Clyde Road between 9pm and 11pm on the night of Mr Briscoe’s death.
She said: “If you have any dash-cam or private footage relating to this incident that has not yet been provided to police, or if you think you may have information, I urge you to contact us without delay via the Major Incident Public Portal, by calling 101, or anonymously through Crimestoppers.
“It doesn’t matter how you do it, but please do get in touch.”
Mr Briscoe’s family are being supported by detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command, said police.
A post-mortem examination held at Haringey Mortuary on Wednesday confirmed his cause of death was sharp force trauma to the chest.
An 18-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of murder earlier in the investigation has since been bailed pending further enquiries to a date in early April.
Anyone with information or any witnesses are asked to call the incident room on 020 8358 1010 or via 101 quoting reference CAD 6900/05Mar.
