A 17-year-old boy has been arrested after a string of knifepoint robberies in a park in Bolton.
Five separate robberies were reported to police in or near Heywood Park, officers said. Most of them happened in broad daylight, while one was at around 10pm last week.
The attacker held the victims at knifepoint in the incidents, with the latest victim suffering minor injuries. Patrols were stepped up in the area and a teenager was arrested yesterday (Monday).

A post on the GMP Bolton Facebook page said: "ARREST | Bolton Police have arrested a 17-year-old male in connection with a robbery series in #Bolton. It comes after Bolton Police received reports of five robberies taking place in or near Heywood Park.
"The majority having taken place in broad daylight and one at around 10pm last week. The victims had been robbed at knifepoint and the violence appeared to be escalating with the latest victim suffering minor injuries from the knife.
"Bolton's neighbourhood team increased patrols to Heywood park and kept an eye out for anything suspicious. The investigation led to the 17-year-old being arrested on Monday 15 August 2022.
