A 21-year-old man has been killed with a boy arrested for his murder tonight.
Greater Manchester Police were called to Kings Road, in Old Trafford, on Wednesday evening following reports of a 'disturbance'. Officers say they found a man with serious injuries who was pronounced dead at the scene.
A murder investigation has been launched. Tonight, GMP say they have arrested a 15-year-old boy for murder.

A spokesman said: "Police were called to an address on Kings Road, Old Trafford at around 7.45pm this evening (Wednesday 31 May 2023) to reports of a disturbance.
"The victim - a 21-year-old man -was found with serious injuries and sadly pronounced dead at the scene by first responders.
"A 15 -year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with this incident and a 16-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon in the nearby area. They both remain in custody ahead of questioning."
A cordon remains in place tonight on Kings Road, near its junction with Rostherne Avenue. It is expected to remain in place overnight.
Detective Superintendent Jane Higham said: “Firstly, my thoughts are with the victim’s family and friends at this time. Officers have been deployed to support them.
“We are in the very early stages of a murder investigation, and a team of experienced officers will be working throughout the night and over the coming days to understand a timeline of events that will help us piece together what has happened this evening.
"We recognise that incidents of this nature will cause concern in our communities, not just in Old Trafford, but across Greater Manchester and as a result there will be a visible increase of police officers in the area over the coming days whilst detectives investigate. Anyone with any concerns is encouraged to come and speak to us.
“I would urge people who were in the area at the time of the incident, or anyone who has mobile or CCTV footage that may be of interest to police to contact us, even the smallest piece of evidence may help with our investigation and provide answers for the young man’s family.
“We are also appealing to motorists and local residents in the area, who may have captured anything on Dashcam, CCTV or doorbell cameras to contact us."
The cordon is in the middle of an area which is currently under extra police powers.
Earlier this evening, GMP issued a statement saying they had increased powers in the Old Trafford and south Manchester areas following a night where 'multiple incidents of violent disorder' was reported.
