Boy, 11, tasered by cops after brandishing knife at Scots holiday park

Scots police tasered an 11-year-old boy brandishing a knife at a popular Scots holiday resort.

The weapon was discharged during a incident where the youngster held a knife up to police, during a stand-off at Craig Tara, near Ayr.

Footage seen online shows the schoolboy clutching a blade before being electrocuted with the 50,000-volt stun gun. The incident is now being investigated by the Police Investigations and Review Commissioner (PIRC) who probe complaints made against Scots cops.
