'Tragic': arrests after boy, 11, shot in face and neck

A mother is spending the evening at her son's bedside as he undergoes lifesaving treatment for a gunshot to the face.

Emergency services discovered the 11-year-old boy suffering a gunshot wound at a unit in Norwest, Sydney's Hills District, about 5pm on Monday.
