An 11-year-old boy has been killed and two people seriously injured following a crash near Stonehenge. The horrifying incident reportedly involved a BMW and a parked lorry near the famous tourist attraction in Wiltshire.
Two air ambulances were scrambled to the collision on the A303 near Amesbury at around 7.30pm on Saturday night. The black BMW had veered off the carriageway and hit the rear of a lorry which was parked in a lay-by, the Mirror reports.
An 11-year-old boy, from London, was declared dead at the scene while the car driver, a man in his 40s, and a 15-year-old male passenger suffered potentially life-changing injuries. They were taken to Southampton General Hospital.
