Thor Bjornsson's coach - as well as a number of fans - are convinced Eddie Hall injured his left hand during the rivals' grudge fight.
Bjornsson dropped Hall in the third and sixth rounds in Dubai on Saturday night to run out a convincing winner on points. But Hall had started the fight on top before fading in the second half to suffer defeat on his ring debut.
And Bjornsson's trainer Billy Nelson told iFL TV : "He obviously had something wrong with his left because he was loading up with his right all the time." The Scot was not the only person to notice something was amiss as fans took to social media to question if Hall had been injured either before or during the bout.
"Has Eddie Hall broke his left hand? I swear it's decoration at this point," one user wrote, while another added: "Has Eddie Hall just completely forgot he has a left hand?"
Of those who thought Hall might have been carrying the injury into the fight, one said: "I'm seriously hoping you had a massive problem with your left arm before the fight."
Another fan asked: "Has Eddie Hall no left hand or something?"
Hall offered on excuses for his defeat when he took to social media to address his loss after the final bell. "You know what, I can take things as a man," Hall said in a video posted to Instagram.

"It's been a hell of a journey; I've enjoyed it and hopefully there's a rematch and we can do business again.
"I want to wish everyone out there.. that you're staying safe, staying positive and you keep moving forward in life. The most important thing is family; this gorgeous baby [Hall's wife] is my rock and no matter what happens I get to go home to her and the kids."
