Boxing Day traffic warning as nearly 20 million cars expected on roads

Drivers are being warned to expect a surge in post-Christmas Day traffic as millions of people take to the roads to visit loved ones or go shopping.

The AA estimated 19.7 million car journeys will be made across the UK on Boxing Day, with 22.0 million on Saturday.
