A huge fight broke out between two women at Pull&Bear in Oxford Street, London, in yesterday's busy Boxing Day sales.
The shoppers had to be forced apart by security after one woman grabbed a metal clothing rail as she attempted to hit the other woman.
Oxford Street was at the time rammed with bargain hunters on the lookout for the best post- Christmas deals.
A video of the fight surfaced on TikTok showing the moment a member of staff forced apart the two women.
In the clip, one woman can be seen grabbing what appears to be a metal clothes rail, attempting to use it as a weapon against the other woman, while the other grabbed jeans off the rack trying to hit the woman back.
Worried shoppers can be seen rushing to store's exit to avoid getting caught up in the brawl, which was eventually broken up by the security guard.
Speaking to MyLondon, the Met Police confirmed that they attended a store on Oxford Street at 6.10pm on Monday, December 26 following reports of a fight.
On arrival they found a member of staff with a head injury, but he declined medical help and continued his shift.
No arrests have been made yet as police continue trying to piece together the events leading up to the fight.
The full statement from the Met Police reads: "Police were called at 18:10hrs on Monday, 26 December to reports of an altercation at a shop in Oxford Street.
"Officers found a member of staff with a head injury. He declined medical assistance and continued his work. There have been no arrests. Enquiries are ongoing."
It is not yet known what caused an argument to erupt between the two shoppers, or whether they were later questioned or asked to leave the store.
Social media users who viewed the video sent praise to the security guard who was able to eventually force the two women apart.
Brits appeared to be undeterred by the rail strikes as thousands headed into Central London to enjoy this year's Boxing Day sales.
MyLondon says early indications suggest that footfall at stores is up by as much as half compared to this time last year.
In Central London, footfall more than doubled on the morning of Boxing Day.
But it still remains around 30% lower when compared with a pre-pandemic Boxing Day in 2019.
