Prominent Nintendo game collector Jason Ganos was stopped in his tracks when a pop culture shop owner in Wisconsin revealed he possessed a long-forgotten box of Super Mario cartridges sitting in storage.

According to Ganos, the haul turned out to be an exceptionally rare hoard of 97 "absolutely pristine" copies of Super Mario Brothers Duck Hunt, the popular Nintendo title launched in 1988.
