A new bowling alley with karaoke and beer pong is set to open in Cardiff next year. Roxy Leisure will open on Queen Street and is set to feature a range of activities.
The company, which has 13 sites in the UK, opened its first bowling alley in Leeds back in 2013, and has recently launched in Sheffield, Bristol, Birmingham, Nottingham, Manchester, and Liverpool. The new Cardiff site, which is due to open in 2023, will be part of the company's extension plans.
Roxy Leisure Ltd applied for a premises licence to sell alcohol at Queen's West, Queen Street earlier this year. The site will be the first Welsh location for the company. As well as the wide range of games and activities on offer, Roxy Lanes has a food and drinks menu serving a variety of cocktails, as well as pizza and hot dogs.

The cocktail menu offers classics, including Long Island ice teas and Pina Coladas, as well as signature cocktails, including the Roxy Spritz, made up of Amaretto, prosecco, lemon, and grenadine. For those who aren't fans of bowling, the site also offers ice-free curling, American pool, air hockey, karaoke, arcade games, basketball, beer pong, bank shot shuffleboard, and shuffleboard.
Roxy Leisure’s, Commercial Manager, Joel Mitchell, said: "We've been searching for the right location in Cardiff for a while now, and we've finally found the perfect place. We're bringing Roxy Lanes to cities across the UK and thanks to Cardiff's abundance of clubs, bars, restaurants, and event spaces, we know that the people of Cardiff will not only love us for the games but the Roxy atmosphere and party too."
