Bust-up explodes on Facebook over location of area border sign in Greater Manchester neighbourhood

A debate has erupted in a Greater Manchester borough - over the location of the border between two areas.

The boundary bust-up has taken Facebook by storm. It comes after a sign reading 'Welcome to Bryn' was erected in the Ashton-in-Makerfield suburb, part of the wider Wigan metropolitan borough.

But some people REALLY aren't impressed, claiming the sign is in the wrong place.
