Bouncer who killed 'dearly loved' student doctor with savage single punch jailed

A "reckless" doorman who killed a student with a single punch has been jailed for four-and-a-half years.

Emmanuel Simon, a “dearly loved” up-and-coming doctor, with struck as he acted as a peacemaker following an altercation, the Manchester Evening News report.

Nojan Kafi, 36, was sentenced at Manchester Crown Court for killing the man in Rusholme in January 2020 following a brawl.
