Boston’s Oshae Brissett, Dalano Banton discuss Toronto’s food, fashion and culture

The Boston Celtics are a little further north than usual this season, at least in the sense that they happen to have a pair of Toronto natives on their roster this season. Forwards Oshae Brissett and Dalano Banton have become part of the culture of this season’s Celtics, but also bring their own culture from north of the border.

The Canadians recently took some time to talk about their hometown’s food, fashion, and culture for the benefit of Bostonians and Celtics fans from further afield to highlight aspects of their background we might otherwise miss. As Brissett said, “Like how I dress, people would say that I dress like a Toronto man.”

They even break down what poutine is, though they do not necessarily both share the strong affection for the dish seen in many Canadians.
