According to a post shared on Reddit, the problem reportedly started soon after the user moved into a new apartment building with limited parking for its tenants. The resident says they had received approval from the city for a parking permit, but says a neighbor has continued leaving notes on their car claiming that parking was not allowed.

According to the post, the building shares about 20 parking spots across two nearby apartment complexes. The resident said they had applied for a free local parking permit before their lease began.
