In a hard-fought battle at TD Garden on Tuesday night, the Boston Celtics emerged victorious against the Cleveland Cavaliers, securing a 120-113 win in the process. The Celtics, who remain undefeated at home, faced a resilient Cavaliers ball club who were on the second night of a back-to-back.
Despite a slow start and being down by as much as 15 points in the first half of the tilt, the Celtics showed off their defensive capabilities in important moments, as well as strategic substitutions, and, crucially, offensive resilience to come out on top. Key contributors to the win included Jaylen Brown’s aggressive play early and Derrick White’s clutch play in the second half, as well as impactful play from the bench mob, like Payton Pritchard and Sam Hauser.
NBC Sports Boston’s Eddie House, Amina Smith and Brian Scalabrine broke down what they saw in the Celtics win.
