Most of us know all too well the nerves that accompany a job interview - but if you weren't already apprehensive enough about the process, it seems that some managers may decide not to hire you if you fail to carry out one simple gesture at the end.
One boss revealed the unconventional method he uses when it comes to deciding who to hire - and it has nothing to do with how the interview itself goes. Trent Innes, the CEO of software company Compono, even went so far as to say that anyone who fails the test would be blacklisted for any future positions, The Mirror reports.
Trent, who was also formerly the managing director of tech company Xero Australia, explained on business podcast The Venture: "I will always take you for a walk down to one of our kitchens and somehow you always end up walking away with a drink.
