Dortmund vs Rangers XIs: Predicted lineups, confirmed team news and injury latest for Europa League

Erling Haaland looks set to be absent when Borussia Dortmund battle Scottish champions Rangers in the Europa League tonight.

The pair clash in the inaugural knockout stage play-off, with a place in the last-16 on the line.

Haaland has missed Dortmund’s last two Bundesliga games because of a groin problem and though the Norwegian is now back in training, manager Marco Rose insists he is not a viable option this evening.

Better news, however, is that midfielder Gio Reyna should be back from illness, though he will likely start among the substitutes.

Rangers had the luxury of resting several players, including Alfredo Morelos, during their win over Annan Athletic in the Scottish Cup at the weekend.

Aaron Ramsey made his debut in that game after signing from Juventus on deadline day and could now make his European bow.

Dortmund predicted XI:Kobel, Meunier, Akanji, Hummels, Guerreiro, Witsel, Dahoud, Bellingham, Brandt, Reus, Malen

Rangers predicted XI:McGregor; Tavernier, Goldson, Balogun, Bassey; Kamara, Lundstram; Kent, Aribo, Arfield, Morelos
