Former prime minister Boris Johnson and wife Carrie have welcomed their third child together.
Carrie, 35, announced her pregnancy in May 2023 on Instagram, when she revealed she was eight months pregnant and the baby could arrive "in a few weeks".
The pair have two children already; Wilfred, who was born in April 2020, and Romy, who was born in December 2021.
Carrie took to Instagram again today to announce she gave birth on July 5, along with a photo of herself holding him, reports the Mirror.
She wrote: "Welcome to the world Frank Alfred Odysseus Johnson born 5th July at 9.15am. (Can you guess which name my husband chose?!)
"Am loving every minute of the sleepy baby bubble. Seeing my older two embrace their new brother with such joy and excitement has been the most wonderful thing to see. We are all very smitten.
"Thank you so much to the incredible NHS maternity team at UCLH. They really are the most amazing, caring people. I feel such immense gratitude. Now, can anyone recommend any good series/box sets to binge while breastfeeding? Time for a drink."
While this is Carrie's third baby, the child is the eighth Johnson, 59, has fathered. He had four children with his ex-wife Marina Wheeler, and another in 2009 with the arts consultant Helen McIntyre, with whom he had an affair.
She captioned the post: "Not long to go now. Thank you lovely @romybecker.photographer for capturing a few moments of calm before the real fun begins."
The pair tied the knot in a secret ceremony in Westminster Cathedral in 2021 after getting engaged in late 2019.
