Boris Johnson has vowed to stay on and fight the next general election despite calls for him to resign over partygate fines.
The Prime Minister has landed in India, but on the plane he told journalists he had no plans to step down as police probe further gatherings in Downing Street and Whitehall during the covid lockdown.
He said: "The best thing to do for the people, for Parliament, is to get on and focus on the things we were elected to do."
