With news of the Prime Minister stepping down from power, bookmakers are already speculating that Johnson is now an odds-on favourite to appear on I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.
The beleaguered soon-to-be former Prime Minister will be looking for a new job and a new life after the stresses of holding the highest office in the land. Lots would agree that a month down-under, living in a hammock and being forced to eat creepy crawlies, could be a significant life improvement for the embattled Johnson.
Ladbrokes certainly believes so, with the bookmakers giving the PM 33/1 odds of appearing on the show in the next five years. Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: "Get Me Out of Here! is something Boris is currently saying in relation to Number 10, and the latest odds suggest he might soon be taking Ant and Dec up on their offer of a spot Down Under."
