A drink driver who caused the death of a much-loved primary school teacher has been sent to prison for over five years.
Simon Allport, 44, was driving “at speed and aggressively” prior to crashing into Amie Linton, on July 14, 2020.
Both cars were travelling in opposite directions, Ms Linton, 33, had been going home to when Allport collided with her at such force, her Nissan Qashqai was propelled through a hedge and into a nearby field.
