Boots shoppers heaped praise on a £11 foundation and said they hope it "never ever stops being made".
High street retailer Boots is well known for its extensive range of beauty products, toiletries, hygiene supplies, essentials and more. The store stocks high end brands, budget friendly offerings and its own range of items, too.
Now, a foundation by beauty brand Maybelline has been receiving praise online. Maybelline’s Dream Urban Cover Foundation is priced at £10.99 and is available in 20 different shades.

The foundation is Maybelline's first medium to full coverage foundation with a “lightweight, barely there feel” and contains SPF 50. Best suited for normal/dry skin types, the foundation offers buildable medium to full coverage and a “flawless” finish.
It has proved popular among beauty lovers, racking up several five star reviews on Boots' website. Among the reviews, one person claimed the foundation is their “new absolute fave”.
On the website, one shopper said: “Amazing foundation. I bought this foundation as I struggle with dry patches on my face and needed a light weight option that wouldn’t cling to the dry skin. This definitely has impressed and is now a make up staple for me.
“It is such good coverage and doesn’t lift throughout the day or if you wanted to put cream contour on top, it’s also extremely buildable which is great if wanted to alter how much coverage you wanted. It is so glowy and gives me the perfect shine even with dry skin. 10/10 definitely recommend.”
A second wrote: “Amazing foundation. Makes the skin seemless and smooth medium coverage but is buildable if you want something more last all day honestly couldn't recommend it more”. A third added: “Perfect shade match, lovely light, high coverage. This is honestly my new holy grail foundation! I loved the nars sheer glow foundation but I found it separated on my nose as that’s one of the most dryest parts on my dry skin.
“I figured I would give this a go before buying the nars tinted moisturiser. I am so glad I did! This is beautiful. It’s light and high coverage and matches my pale neutral toned skin well. I’m in the shade warm vanilla and I was Finland in the nars foundation.

“For me it covers all my scars yet still feels like I’m wearing nothing on my face. Love that it has spf 50 in it as I need to wear spf on my skin to stop my scars darkening. I honestly couldn’t recommend this enough as it lasts the entire day or night I’m wearing it.”
Another added: “Lightweight but great coverage. Loved using this foundation. applied with my fingers then blended with a sponge it covers really nicely. It wears well and lasts a long time which was lovely and felt so nice on my skin. It was also easy to remove and didn't leave any residue on my skin I will definitely use this again.”
