Boots shoppers are hailing a self-tan face cream priced at £1.99 which one shopper says 'will save them hundreds'.
It's the Dove DermaSpa Face Cream Summer Revived Medium to Dark Self-tan which is currently on offer at the retailer and has been labelled "a must".
Boots is currently stocking the product for £1.99 - down from its usual £3.99 - as it is running a half-price offer on selected Dove products online, reports Daily Record.

Product details say: "Our first spa-like facial tanning moisturiser combining gentle tanners with our unique Cell-Moisturisers.
"To easily build a streak-free tan, you need to moisturise your skin, which is why Dove's gradual tan Face Cream contains our Cell-Moisturisers, which ensure skin is deeply cared for because it moisturises to the deeper layers of the skin whilst preventing moisture loss from the surface and gradually building that holiday-looking glow."
To use, the Boots website says: "Apply evenly over clean, dry skin, and then wash hands thoroughly. Enjoy smooth, moisturised skin with a natural-looking tan with Dove Summer Revived Gradual Self-Tan Face Cream. A tanning lotion providing a true spa-like experience providing cruelty-free dermatological care."
Beauty fans are loving the product and have left glowing reviews online.
One shopper said: "I've always used expensive fake tan for my face as I always wear factor 50 moisturiser. I bought this on a whim after seeing a few decent reviews. This is going to save me hundreds! It's better than anything I've used previously and I usually spend over £30."
A second raved: "I bought this recently and I am so glad I did! I really won't be using any other tanner because this is such good value for money, I bought both the face cream and body cream in medium/dark and I am a very pale person with blonde hair, but it just gave me such an instant glow! All my friends were telling me I looked lovely the next day and I think it was the glow! Couldn't recommend it enough if you're looking for a low maintenance, easy option for healthy tanned skin."
A third said: "A must!!! Absolutely love this! Gives the most even natural tan and if you struggle with tan sitting in your pores then this is for you! To get the best colour I apply a thick coat with a mitt, let it dry then an hour later apply a second coat then go to bed and in the morning it looks amazing! Its super moisturising and rich. If you love gradual tanners or just want the best natural tan then you have to try it!"
A fourth added: "Didn’t hold out much hope for this as bought whilst on offer and £1.99 I thought hmmm… however, it’s AMAZING! Smells light and fresh, not too overpowering. My skin is so sensitive from using Retin A and expected this to sting a little, but no, not at all. Colour is lovely too. I’m going back for more whilst it’s on offer. Bargain!"
