Boots shoppers 'in love' with £3 foundation they say rivals YSL and Urban Decay

Boots shoppers have been blown away by a bargain foundation they say is 'better than high end' - and it's only £2.99.

The Natural Collection Hydrating and Radiance Foundation has received several five-star reviews online. Some people have even compared it to high-end formulas from YSL and Nars, which can cost up to £27 more.

A description on the Boots website says the lightweight formula is designed to glide onto the skin with ease, creating light coverage. It contains soothing chamomile and is also free from fragrance.

What's more? Customers can currently pick up the affordable foundation as part of a 'buy one get one half price' offer, which includes all products from Natural Collection - you can check out the entire range here.

On the Boots website, shoppers have been raving about the results of the Natural Collection Hydrating and Radiance Foundation, calling it "perfect" and "great".

One reviewer said: "I have had some really high end foundations that are like a mask but this is amazing. It’s coverage is medium but lovely and glowing, not sparkly. My skin is very pigmented and it leaves a natural glow, toning down my freckles but not a mask like coverage. Not greasy just right."

Another added: "I needed a foundation for dry skin and also for everyday wear as I didn't want to keep using my Urban Decay as its full coverage. This foundation really surprised me... It's medium coverage but it feels so light and blended in lovely using a brush.

"It also didn't stick to any dry patches which was the goal for me. I was worried initially because I seen some of the colours looked quite dark. I'm very pale (Irish gal) but this foundation in porcelain was perfect! I've found my new everyday foundation. Please don't ever change this formula!!! For the price, fab!!!!"

A third penned: "I bought this as the shade was the only one that matched my skin and had a yellow base it’s a good winter foundation as my skin is dry during winter it’s very similar to my nars foundation.. having said that you need to powder it for it to stay longer!"

And someone else raved: "I used to use YSL but bought this in case I ran out and couldn't get YSL. I dont by YSL now this is so amazing its like using moisturiser every day and I would agree totally with the name hydrating and radiance."
