Boots shoppers hail £10 'liquid gold' anti-ageing cream that banishes 'sagging eyes'

Boots shoppers have found a 'liquid-gold' product for those with 'baggy under-eyes', 'crepey eyelids' and 'dark circles'.

It's the Olay Eyes Deep Hydrating Eye Gel For Tired Dehydrated Skin Moisturiser which is is usually £24.99, but for one day only Boots have reduced it to just £10 as part of an online-only flash sale, reports My London.

The moisturiser is targeted for tired and dehydrated skin and has received 260 five-star reviews on the Boots website.

Directions on how to use state: "Use morning and evening on cleansed skin. Massage product around the eye area, paying attention to dehydrated areas and smooth in until thoroughly absorbed."

One mum-of-four said it left her eyes "feeling refreshed and looking younger".

And a daughter commented: “My mum uses Olay and recently tried the deep hydrating eye gel and the difference is amazing! Her eyes look younger and fresh! I'm going to be purchasing one for myself as it's worked really well on her. I have to give it a try.”

Another reviewer said: "Good for my tricky menopausal skin - adds a bit of 'bounce' to skin to disguise baggy under-eyes and crepey eyelids, whilst not blocking pores. Could do a little more to tighten under-eye skin but so far the best under-eye product I've found, especially if kept in the fridge."

One shopper described it as her ‘magic secret’, adding: “It is amazing for my eyes, I am over 40 and my skin needs some help lately. This product is deep hydrating, refreshing in such a small period of time. Definitely will always be part of my beauty routine.”

Though some say it has 'one drawback' and that's the price, commenting: "This gel is easily absorbed and hydrates really well. It leaves no residue and make up can be applied almost immediately. It is a shame that it is quite expensive which is the only drawback."

The £10 deal comes as part of the high street retailer’s popular £10 Tuesday deals , which sees several best-selling brands and beauty must-haves reduced to £10 24 hours , including brands such as No7, NIP+FAB, Urban Decay, Benefit and more.

Some of the savings are as big as almost £25. Throughout the week, you can find more top Boots offers here.

The eye cream available is also available on Amazon at the lower price of £10 too.
