We all love a beauty secret and one that make-up aficionados say airbrushes skin to "perfection" is currently being sold by Nottingham headquartered firm Boots for £14. A loyal Estee Lauder fan claimed it even rivalled their designer brand, calling the foundation "fantastic" and claiming they had ditched the high-end version.
With reports that the beauty product lasts all day long, the £14 foundation has impressed hundreds of reviewers with its oil-free formula and SPF rating of 20. The product claims to "act as a primer, concealer and foundation" giving long-lasting hold, a clear complexion and a flawless finish.
The high-end rival is Max Factor's Facefinity All Day Flawless Foundation, a full-coverage liquid foundation. One former loyal Estee Lauder fan said they had swapped their designer foundation, which costs on average £38 per bottle, after trying Boots' £14 budget option.

Another five-star reviewer added: "Honestly I could rave about it all day - absolutely love it." Other shoppers said they are now using the £14 Max Factor 3 in 1 product instead of buying more expensive brands such as NARS, Charlotte Tilbury and MAC.
The budget foundation has been crafted with Max Factor's Flexi-hold technology that helps create a durable makeup-protecting film. It is designed to provide a smooth base that grips makeup and holds it in place for 24 hours, while masking imperfections, dark circles and pores.
At the time of writing, Max Factor Facefinity All Day Flawless Foundation 30ml is currently priced at £13.99 on the Boots website, and is reduced to £10.39 on the LookFantastic website. Nottinghamshire Live sister publication, Manchester Evening News, reported that one five-star reviewer said: "I bought this when I'd forgotten to pack my usual foundation.
"I think the price is great, and it's really good quality for a high street foundation. I prep my skin with skincare then primer, and apply the foundation with a beauty blender.
"The coverage is really even and buildable (covers my spots really well), and the colour is a perfect match for me. The matte finish is great because it stops me looking oily, but also isn't so matte that I look cakey or dusty! It definitely does have an airbrush finish like it says. It lasts for hours."
Another wrote: "This product gives you a nice complexion to your face make-up without showing too many wrinkles." A third Boots shopper said: "I had been searching for a while for a new foundation, this one was recommended by a friend so I gave it a try. It's great, it's smooth and applied easily and evenly. It certainly does last all day, it feels light and colour is great for me. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed."
The comments continued: "I love this foundation. It has a great coverage and does not settle in pore or lines. It's a very natural finish." "Love this foundation. Lasts the whole day with no need for touch ups," praised somebody else.
The former Estee Lauder fan previously mentioned, said: "For years I have been buying EL foundation which costs a fortune. No more. This Max Factor Facefinity is fantastic. I find I only need to use two pumps to get full coverage. It stays in place all day too."
Another glowing five-star review read: "Absolutely love it. Would definitely recommend if you have tricky skin. Max factor, please do not discontinue this product, I would cry!"
