Boots is launching a 'world-first' skincare range in stores this week and is giving Bristol shoppers the chance to try it free of charge. Beauty brand No7 will host an exclusive event at Boots Bristol Cribbs Causeway on Wednesday (April 12) and is giving away a goody bag of products with more than £100 to the first 70 shoppers.
No7, which is the UK's most popular skincare brand, has announced its Future Renew range that contains a 'super peptide' blend, which it says is proven to reverse the appearance of multiple signs of skin damage after just one week. The new range comprises four skin products - a day cream, night cream, face serum and eye serum - that No7 says will the skin’s natural repair process and has been described as a game changer for consumers.
The No7 Future Renew damage reversal serum claims to reverse visible signs of skin damage in four weeks, including the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, uneven tone and texture, dry skin, and less elastic and firm-feeling skin. In research conducted by No7, users of the day and night creams reported results of more supple, healthier, brighter skin in just one week.

Users of the serum said it reduced the appearance of skin lines and wrinkles after four weeks. The damage reversal SPF40 day cream, night cream and serum cost £34.95 each (with the 50ml serum costing £42.95) and the eye serum is priced at £24.95.
“Skin damage happens throughout our lives and is caused by multiple factors including sun exposure, environmental pollution, stress, sleep, temperature and nutrition,” said No7’s head of science research Dr Mike Bell. “The new peptide blend effectively tricks the skin into thinking that it has been damaged which leads to renewal of key proteins such as collagen and fibrillin.
"It therefore supports skin’s natural self-repair mechanisms, targeting signs of cumulative damage both on and under the surface. This is a world-first technology only available from No7. We believe it is going to be a game changer for consumers.”
The company says the new skincare products contains two new chemical entities, a patent-pending 'world-first technology' that cannot be found in any other product. It is a culmination of 15 years of scientific research into skin ageing with the University of Manchester and led by No7’s team of scientists.
It has undergone the most extensive and diverse testing programme in No7’s history – 37 studies on over 4,200 people, including two clinical trials and 23 user trials. More than half (51%) of the total testing group had skin of colour.
To celebrate the launch in Bristol, customers are invited to Boots Cribbs Causeway for an exclusive in-store event. The first 70 customers in the queue when the store opens at 8.30am, will receive a free goody bag worth over £100, as well as complimentary fizz and cupcakes.
