BOOM! Ohio State football snags four-star lineman

Recent recruiting news has not been favorable towards Ryan Day and Justin Frye, but just like Lloyd Christmas in Dumb and Dumber, they have totally redeemed themselves. Ohio State earned the commitment of Jayvon McFadden. The four-star interior offensive line prospect is a four-star recruit in the class of 2025 from the state of Maryland.

Most expected this commitment to come considering Ohio State was the only official visit McFadden took over the summer. The Buckeyes originally offered the four-star recruit a scholarship during his November visit when he came for the Michigan State contest.

The interior offensive lineman was highly sought after and chose Ohio State over national powers like Colorado and Florida. He is now the 25th commit in the class of 2025 and the third offensive lineman, joining four-star Ohio native, Carter Lowe, and three-star Ohio native, Jake Cook.
