Bonner claims Johnston, Palma and Oh all need to contribute more for Celtic

Celtic hero Pat Bonner has picked out three players that struggled during the defeat to Kilmarnock.

The Scottish champions lost 2-1 at Rugby Park as their gap at the top of the table was reduced to five points.

And while Bonner felt the whole team played poorly, he picked out three players that have to do more going forward.

Speaking on BBC Sportsound, he said: "Celtic looked really uncomfortable and they just couldn’t pass through the midfield. Even getting the ball wider at times they just couldn’t get a hold of it.

“Young Mikey Johnston kept running towards the ball. He was outmuscled and that then stopped Celtic from from getting a hold of the ball.

“Palma didn’t really contribute in the second half. Oh was always on the halfway line and he had a couple of good moments where he held the ball up and he turned and he played in Matt O’Riley but it was all too few from that perspective.”

Meanwhile, Scott Brown is reportedly a candidate for the Queen's Park job.

This is according to the Daily Record who claim that the Scottish Championship side are "interested" in talking to the former Scotland international over their vacant managerial position.

It comes after Robin Veldman departed the Spiders on Saturday evening after their defeat to Inverness.

Queen's Park are without a league win since August and currently sit eighth in the table.

Brown has been out of work since being sacked by English League One side Fleetwood Town earlier this season after a poor run of results.

His former Parkhead team-mate Charlie Mulgrew is also someone the club are interested in speaking to about the role, according to the report.
