Ian Evatt believes the challenge MK Dons pose to Bolton Wanderers is similar to the test his side faced aagainst Charlton Athletic as he plans his team selection.
Wanderers are back in action tomorrow evening when they travel to Buckinghamshire to face the Dons. The clash over the weekend versus Cheltenham Town was postponed along with all football across the UK as a mark of respect following the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
Bolton last played at the start of September with a 3-1 win over Charlton Athletic at the University of Bolton Stadium. With games confirmed to be going ahead tomorrow, Evatt expects a similar test and game plan against the Dons as what Wanderers encountered versus the Addicks.

Evatt said: “Fortunately for us, it’s quite similar to the Charlton game in terms of style of play and the way they want to play, so it’s a similar game plan and opportunity for us.
“I think what team I would have picked on Saturday will be completely different to the team I pick tomorrow night. That’s just football and obviously the circumstances that we find ourselves in is unprecedented so unfortunately for some of the lads that would have played on Saturday, it’s a missed opportunity but there will be others coming along pretty quickly.”
As result of that, it could be that Evatt goes with a similar line-up to the side which began the victory over the Addicks. James Trafford is expected to continue as goalkeeper.
It would be no surprise to see the back three remain as it was against the Addicks. It could see skipper Ricardo Santos flanked by Gethin Jones to his right and George Johnston to the left.
In the wing-back role, Liverpool loanee Conor Bradley could continue his impressive season on the right. On the left, Evatt faces a choice between the more defensive selection of Jack Iredale and the more attacking pick of Declan John.
In central midfield, MJ Williams would be expected to anchor in front of the back four, while it is not out of the question that George Thomason could be rewarded with another start. In the number 10 role, Kieran Lee could continue.
A big choice will be who partners Dion Charles upfront. Dapo Afolayan is a contender to come into the team in place of Amadou Bakayoko, while Elias Kachunga is also an option.
Bolton Wanderers predicted starting team vs MK Dons: Trafford; Jones, Santos, Johnston; Bradley, Williams, Thomason, Iredale; Lee; Charles, Afolayan.
