First half team
James Trafford - 6
Had an uncharacteristic slightly nervous moment when closed down by Mike Calveley and another when he completely missed Lamine Toure's backpass. Made great fingertip stop from Ollie Shenton.
Gethin Jones - 7.5
Wore the captain's arm in the first half and was decent on the right of a back three, getting forward where he could to support attack.
Adam Senior - 7
Lined up in the middle of a back three and put in a solid shift there against a side he played for on loan last season.
George Johnston - 7
A decent range of long and short passing from the central defender for the most part. Was taken off before the end of the first half.
Conor Bradley - 6.5
Got forward well but did not make the same inpact as he did during impressive debut against Longridge on Tuesday night.
George Thomason - 6.5
Generally solid in possession in the middle of the park but a couple of errors in quick succession led to the odd nervous moment at the back for Wanderers.
Aaron Morley -8
Picked out Charles with good ball for opening goal and delivered a fantastic cross for Bodvarsson to score the second with his second assist of the afternoon.
Declan John - 7
Saw shot saved by Chorley stopper Matt Urwin as Wanderers went close to grabbing second. Got forward down the left and put in a couple of threatening crosses.
Dapo Afolayan - 6.5
Drifted about the pitch in a bid to influence encounter but did not have a big impact in first half.
Dion Charles - 8
Clinical finish on the turn for fourth goal of pre-season early on in the game. Was usual tenacious self and was perhaps unfortunate not to get a second.
Jon Dadi Bodvarsson - 8
Some nice touches in build-up play from Iceland international and a good header for Bolton's second goal of the afternoon.
Lamine Toure - 5
Came on towards the end of the first half for Johnston.
Second half team
Joel Dixon - 6
Did not have a great deal to do in all honestly and was beatn by Hall for Chorley's goal as ball slide underneath him.
Will Aimson - 7
Some good passing range shown on the right of a back three from the former Plymouth defender, but had a tough time occasionally against one of Chorley's exciting trailists.
Ricardo Santos - 6.5
Skipper looked decent for the most part but was beaten by Connor Hall as Chorley got on the scoresheet.
Jack Iredale - 7
Did not have quite the same impact as on debut going forwards but was solid defensively at the back.
Kieran Sadlier -7
Put in several aerial deliveries throughout the second half and put in the corner from the right flank which led to Bolton's third of the afternoon.
Kyle Dempsey - 6.5
Worked hard in the middle of the park and saw shot got just wide as full-time approached from just outside the box.
MJ Williams - 7.5
Returned to action after a swollen knee kept him out of Longridge win. Added some bite into the Wanderers midfield and was up there with the best players in the second half.
Max Conway - 6
Youngster showed plenty of energy down the left flank but crosses did not manage to reach a white shirt in difficult second half for team in general.
Kieran Lee - 6
Made second pre-season appearance but struggled to make much creative impact on pitch that was quite heavy and not condusive to flowing football.
Elias Kachunga - 7
Struggled to carve out chances but took header when it came to him with good placement into the top corner.
Amadou Bakayoko - 6
Had effort on goal in coming together with Chorley goalkeeper Urwin.
