November is creeping up on us, which also means it's the time of year to enjoy fireworks dancing in the sky and the smell of burning bonfires.
Although bonfire night falls on Saturday, November 5, this year you can expect to start seeing the celebrations begin from people's gardens during the run-up to the occasion.
This year Bolton council joins Manchester, Trafford, Oldham and Bury in not providing a council fireworks display in 2022. However, there are some independently-run events being held in the borough.

Bonfire Night is celebrated every year in commemoration of the failed gunpowder plot which sought to blow up the House of Lords and King James I in 1605.
The plot was famously initiated by Guy Fawkes, which is why some people refer to the holiday as Guy Fawkes Night.
Here is a breakdown of confirmed displays taking place across Bolton. Let us know if you would like one included by emailing newsdesk@men-news.co.uk.
