Bolton Beer Festival is returning for a 28th year, with more than 220 different drinks to sample. The annual event welcomes thousands of visitors to the University of Bolton Stadium every year as beer aficionados queue up to try the festival's vast array of real ales, lagers and ciders.
For those who are not as much into beer or cider, there is also a wide selections of gin, wine and Prosecco on the menu. During the festival, tokens are used to pay for drinks and these can be bought alongside tickets or on the night itself. Ticketholders will also be handed a Bolton Beer Festival pint glass and a programme with a list of drinks.
There will also be live musical performances each night of the festival - which runs from Thursday October 13 to Saturday October 15. On the Thursday, Luke McColl will play, with The Govans and The Pedal Tones taking to the stage on Saturday and Sunday respectively.
