The Criminal Court has sentenced a ride-hailing driver to one month in prison and a 5,000-baht fine for assaulting a Japanese passenger in Bangkok.
The case stemmed from the assault of the 52-year-old passenger during a Bolt ride near Asok intersection on Monday, following a dispute over the fare and traffic. The passenger admitted to swearing and kicking the driver's seat, while the driver confessed to attacking him after ordering him out of the vehicle.
