Bojan Miovski has given Euro-chasing Aberdeen a massive boost by insisting he won’t be quitting Pittodrie in January. The Macedonian international, who arrived in a big-money move from MTK Budapest, has been a major success in Scotland and is currently joint top scorer in the Premiership with 11 goals.
Miovski has recently been linked with a big-money January move to French side Stade de Reims. The on-form striker, in an exclusive interview with Record Sport , which is set to be published in full over the coming days, has no intention of leaving Aberdeen as he looks to try and seal a return to European football.
Miovski said: "Yes, I am definitely going to finish the season with Aberdeen. I am fully focused on the second part of the season. I have committed to a long-term four-year contract (until 2026) with Aberdeen. Currently, I don’t think about leaving as I am proud to say that I play for one of the biggest clubs in Scotland!"
Miovski has become a firm favourite at Pittodrie. His goals have helped Aberdeen go into the World Cup break in third place and to the semi-finals of the League Cup, where they face Rangers.
.Jim Goodwin’s side will be looking for his Aberdeen side to build on that success and book their European return. Miovski will be a key figure again for the Dons in the second half of the season.
