A person has died after being found on railway tracks.
British Transport Police has confirmed that they were called to reports of a casualty on the railway lines at Warrington Bank Quay, at around 10.29am today, on June 6. Paramedics also visited the scene to give the person medical attention, but the person was pronounced dead.
Officers said the death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will now be prepared for the coroner. As a result, there is disruption to trains in the north west, covering parts of Merseyside, Manchester and Chester.
