Body of man found in Paisley as police probe 'unexplained' death

The body of a man has been found at a property in Paisley.

Police raced to Kinnaird Drive in the Linwood area of the Renfrewshire town after receiving a report of a sudden death at 7.20pm on Sunday, May 14. Officers attended and a 40-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives investigating the incident are currently treating his death as unexplained.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7.20pm on Sunday, May 14, 2023, officers were called to a report of a sudden death at a property in the Kinnaird Drive area of Linwood. A 40-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.

"The death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing. A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.”
